On-site Treatment for Employees
When an employee becomes ill or injured
at work, what should happen next: Should the employee go
to the emergency room? Or should the employee "wait and see" if
the pain goes away?
By having an on-site clinic at the
worksite, Frontline Medical professionals are able to assess
and treat employee injuries immediately. This early intervention
helps avoid unnecessary and costly off-site treatment and
helps provide necessary treatment sooner. This allows the employees health
outcome to improve faster, thus allowing the employee
to return to productive work faster. Workers' comp claims
and associated medical costs significantly decrease.
With a broadened scope of service,
Frontline Medical can provide for many general health needs
of employees. Properly supervised by a doctor and supported
with Frontline Medical’s
guidelines, our personnel provide a convenient and cost-effective
service.
Employees can receive care for acute illnesses, including strep
throat, ear infections, colds, minor orthopedic injuries, and
minor infections. In addition, Frontline Medical will perform
minor diagnostic and treatment procedures. Frontline Medical
also provides Advanced Cardiac Life Support services on-site.
We will provide Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) to
three locations in camp.
Special Operations
Special Tasks
Each client that Frontline Medical serves poses challenges
that require special skills and resources. Wildland Fire
support requires specially trained personnel to work directly
on a fireline. Disaster support requires extreme adaptability.
On occasion, Frontline Medical is called to respond to
life-threatening situations. Our clients can rest assured,
all Frontline Medical personnel have extensive rescue and
clinical experience. While some operations appear more
dramatic than others, in a very real sense, all of our
services are special operations.
Special Staff
A very large percentage of Frontline Medical personnel serve
on volunteer fire and rescue departments; many regularly
work in hospital emergency departments. Some are assigned
to FEMA, state, and county response teams. Some have worked
on special teams assigned to build clinics in other countries.
Frontline Medical personnel represent the best characteristics
of skilled, caring professionals who treat every patient,
each client, and all operations with the professionalism
deserved.
Quality Improvement
Frontline Medical maintains an ongoing
Quality Improvement program to monitor and verify that our
standards are being met in all aspects of our service, from
clinical care to client and patient satisfaction. Frontline
Medical’s Quality
Improvement program includes regular reviews, clinic audits,
and staff performance evaluations.
